It is important that all students are able to access technology in the classroom fairly. Providing all students with access to different types of technology seems to be one way to lessen the gap between high achieving students and low achieving students. When technology is provided to all, students are able to flourish and develop problem solving skills. To ensure that equitable digital access it available to all students guidelines must be laid out in the classroom. Below are some tips on how to provide all students with fair access to technology in a limited 21st century classroom.

ComputersAssign students days to use the computer. At the beginning of a new unit assign a research project for students to work on throughout a unit. Assign the students a day to have the computers. The students will have to manage their time effectively and also be exposed to 21st century technologies in the classroom.
